Pom Pom Earrings

I have always been an earring wearer ever since I was in sixth grade when my mom let me get my ears pierced. I don’t usually wear necklaces because I don’t like how they look on me, but earrings? Oh, give me all the cute earrings and I’m a happy girl.

This is why I was so excited that I learned about Dawn Graham Designs and her absolutely amazing collection of earrings. She has so many different options and colors to choose from that I find myself on her site or Instagram page forever just trying to figure out which ones I like the most.

Two of her most popular earrings are the statement earrings and the pompom earrings which I am obsessed with. She mixes and matches all different colors and patterns to fit any season, holiday, or even your favorite sports team!

The best part? She is a full time working mom of two kids who hustles to make these awesome earrings in her spare time. Better yet, the name Dawn Graham came from her children’s middle names and her son helped design her logo. Can you get any cuter than that?

These would make a perfect gift for the upcoming holidays! She also has other types of earrings as well as necklaces. Check out her shop today!

There is nothing like having a super comfortable dress that can be worn all the time. My latest dress from PinkBlush is so comfortable that I find myself wearing it out, but also a comfy dress for quick errands or just lounging around the house in.

The best part about this Navy Floral Fitted Wrap Maternity Dress is I will totally be wearing it after the baby is born because it will be so easy to nurse in. This dress is the softest velvet material and is the perfect fit from the bust to the length of the dress.

My Favorite Non-Maternity Sweater for Maternity Wear

img_42651.jpg

Sweater: DressLily Leggings: Nordstrom

This time of year makes me want all the comfy, cozy sweaters to start wearing during the fall and winter months. Over the last few years, I have definitely accumulated a fair amount of sweaters that I can pull out and wear in a moments notice. The only problem with this fall season is that most of those sweaters don’t extend over that growing bump that seems to be protruding more and more each day.

I decided I wanted to try finding some comfortable sweaters that I could wear while pregnant, but also continue to wear over the years. Big baggy sweaters it is!

I recently found the cutest heathered lace patchwork sweater that fits so well from Dresslily. It goes right over my bump, but will definitely still be wearable next fall when I’m (hopefully) back to my regular weight. It is the perfect sweater to wear with leggings, which is exactly what this pregnant mama needs. My favorite part is the adorable lace patchwork along the bottom.

Look for more comfortable, adorable finds from DressLily in the future!

The Best Staples to Have in Your Closet to Twin with Your Daughter

Mommy and me fashionMommy and me matchingMommy and me outfitMommy and me

Matching denim and floral dresses linked here.

It is safe to say I’m one of those moms that love to twin with her daughter. Now when I say, “twin” with my daughter, what that typically means is I coordinate our outfits to be somewhat matching. We have a few matching outfits that were either purchased or given to us to match, but most of the time when I match my daughter it’s simple outfits that we each have in our closets that coordinate well together. Most of the items that we use to match I did not purchase for the sake of matching, they were just things I already owned in my closet. I couldn’t match my daughter without these staples in my closet.

Solid Colored Shirts or Dresses

So many times when I match my daughter, it’s just a simple, plain colored shirt that goes well with a shirt she has around that color as well.

Common Patterns like Stripes or Plaid

I cannot tell you how many times my daughter and I match with stripes. Whether it’s shirts or dresses we each have a few different items in our closets that contain stripes and they are perfect to match each other. We also have a few other patterns that go well together like plaid, floral, palm leaves, etc.

Jean Jacket

Margot was given a hand-me-down jean jacket which was the perfect staple to easily match with me. If we don’t have a perfect matching outfit, it’s nice to be able to throw this on each of us to bring our style together.

Black Leggings

I love to live in black leggings anyway, so making sure my daughter has a pair that always fits her is a must for matching. It’s easy to pair similar tops or dresses.

It’s a Girl!

Gender reveal

Well, thank you for your patience as we told all of our friends and family the news of the gender reveal first! If you’ve read the title by now you’ve realized that it’s a GIRL! We would have been happy either way, but we are so thrilled to be having another girl, and a sister for Margot.

I’m also excited because I love pink, and it’s certainly going to be easy to match my daughters with all the pink around this house.

A few weeks ago I wrote about my favorite maternity store, PinkBlush (check out that blog post here). Recently I found this adorable pink long sleeve cold shoulder maternity top that had the cutest ruffle on it from them. It is so soft and comfortable to wear, as well as super cute. I definitely will be wearing this throughout my entire pregnancy, as well as postpartum. Check out more of their adorable maternity tops on their website.

The best part about PinkBlush is that they not only have women’s clothing they now offer so many adorable outfits for newborns and children. I cannot wait to continue matching with my daughters through PinkBlush!

Let’s hope that this next girl is as sweet, silly and sassy as her older sister!

Why Pink Blush Has Been My Go To Maternity Store for Two Years

Pregnancy Red Dress

When I learned I was pregnant back in 2016, I hit a point where I was in desperate need of maternity clothes. I had two weddings, three baby showers (one being my own), and just a general need for casual clothes as well as items I could wear to work. I found a few bland pieces at local stores that got me through a month or two. I told myself that I was just going to have to deal with not feeling comfortable or cute in any clothes while I was pregnant for the next few months.

That was before I heard of Pink Blush.

One day while browsing Pinterest I stumbled upon the website Pink Blush, and suddenly realized that I could wear some beautiful, trendy clothes as a pregnant woman, while still being comfortable. These clothes are what I continued to wear after pregnancy when I was still postpartum and not back to my normal weight. Some dresses I was even able to wear after I was back to my normal weight.

Fast forward to 2018 and I am pregnant again, wearing the same beautiful dresses from Pink Blush that I wore during my last pregnancy, as well as some new items that I couldn’t live without.

2018 Pink Blush Favorites

Red Floral Crochet Tassel Tie Maternity Shift Dress

maternity-red-dress.jpg

This dress is one of the most comfortable summer dresses I have ever owned. The polyester material is so light to wear out and about on these warm summer days. It can easily be paired with heels to wear to a formal event, or worn with some sandals to run errands. Just when I thought I couldn’t love this dress more, I realized it has pockets. C’mon ladies, you know we all love a good pocket dress!

When it was shipped to me the tassels were tied together in a bow at the top, but personally, I like the untied look better with an open neckline. This dress is the perfect fit and is designed to be worn before, during and after pregnancy.

Peach Floral Striped Knot Tie Maternity Top

Floral Maternity Top

This floral and striped top is the perfect piece that can be casually worn around town or dressed up to wear to work. The front has a floral pattern with striped sleeves for a unique look, while the back is only stripes. It’s so easy to pair with a simple jean and bootie outfit, or could be dressed up with a black pencil skirt and heels.

It is 95% Rayon and 5% Spandex so it is very comfortable and has the perfect fit. I love the way it fits right around my bump with the knot tie detail on the left side hemline. The best part is I can wear this now at 20 weeks, but I can see that it will easily continue to fit my growing belly until I am full term.

2016 Pink Blush Favorites

Coral Maternity/Nursing Dress

Coral Pregnancy Dress

This simple, but beautiful dress has been one of my favorites for years. I wore it when I was pregnant with my daughter who is now almost two. I continued to wear it for months after she was born because it was so easy to breastfeed her in this dress. After I got back to my pre-baby weight I could still easily wear this dress, it just had a bit more flow to it.

I constantly wore this dress casually with a pair of flats or sandals and a jean jacket, or dressed it up with heels and wore it to a wedding. It is so versatile while also allowing you to feel so comfortable and cute wearing it.

Mint Floral Chiffon Maternity Dress

mint-pregnancy-dress.jpg

This mint floral dress is one of Pink Blush’s most popular items. This was the dress that caught my eye on Pinterest and helped me discover this beautiful range of dresses. I wore this to my baby shower with my first born. It fit so well and was so comfortable to wear. I loved that I could wear this dress with sleeves throughout the summer, and still didn’t get too warm because the sleeve material was so light and airy. It is also double lined to prevent sheerness. This dress continued to fit better and better the more the baby grew.

I have two other friends that bought this same exact dress because they too saw it on Pinterest and they love it just as much as I do. I have never received so many compliments on a dress as I do this one.

Delivery/Nursing Maternity Robe

maternity-robe.jpg

Pink Blush calls these Delivery/Nursing and Maternity Robe’s, but I call them “the comfiest thing I’ve ever put on my body and I wear it every day of my life” robe. When I say that I have worn this robe almost every single day since the birth of my daughter, I’m not lying to you. This is my go-to garment when I get out of the shower, and I wear it all morning long while I get ready until I get dressed in the morning.

I wore it when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and it fit perfectly over my growing belly. It was the comfiest piece of clothing to nurse my daughter in, and I’m so happy that I brought this robe to the hospital with me while I was there for a few days. It is still in beautiful condition and I’m so excited to wear it all the time throughout this second pregnancy as well.

The specific robe I purchased two years ago is not sold anymore, but I have linked two very similar options here and here.

My final thoughts…

Before you go, let me leave you with a few things:

  1. Pink Blush allows you to get 10% off your first order, so you can instantly get a discounted price.
  2. I am so excited that Pink Blush now has regular women’s clothing, so if you become as addicted as me, you can still buy their adorable items even when you’re not pregnant.
  3. Better yet, they have KIDS clothing that you can purchase for your baby or toddler, and you can guarantee you will be seeing more of that from me in the future.

Comment or message me if you have any questions about styling, sizing or fit on any of these cute items!

Pineapple Clothing- Mommy & Me

Processed with VSCO with t1 preset

Margot and I have hit the jackpot. We have found the cutest site that houses the most adorable clothing for mothers and daughters. It is called Pineapple Clothing and has tons of cute products made in the US. From leggings to dresses and skirts this website has so many options for mothers and daughters who like to match. Or for mothers who like to match their daughters when in reality the daughters have no choice. #sorrynotsorry

We tried out some of the printed leggings and they fit us both perfectly. I especially love the way they fit Margot. She is a tall girl for her age, and I was worried they wouldn’t be long enough, but they were so stretchy that they were easy to get on her, and fit like a glove. My next purchases will be some dresses for Easter and Mother’s day.

Right now I can offer you 20% off your entire purchase with the code brilivCheck out their website for tons of mother and daughter options!

Thank you to Pineapple Clothing for partnering with me on this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
