Maternity Top After Pregnancy

Mama’s Outfit: Cold Shoulder Top Jeans

It’s frustrating to buy maternity clothes when you only wear them for about five months… if that. My first pregnancy I bought all the pregnancy clothes. I thought I would need them, but in reality, I didn’t wear all of them that often. With my second pregnancy, I bought a few essentials but didn’t purchase many. Partly it was because I had some left over from the first, but also because I was pregnant during the winter months (cue all the big comfy sweaters).

One thing I tried to do with this pregnancy was find maternity clothes that I could also wear post-pregnancy. A few things didn’t quite fit right after I lost that big old bump, but one of my favorite items was a long sleeved cold shoulder pink ruffle top from PinkBlush. It fit perfectly during pregnancy and now that my daughter is here and the bump is gone, it still fits just great.

Although this top is currently out of stock, I’ve linked a similar option to check out, and it’s only $24. Happy shopping!

My Favorite Non-Maternity Sweater for Maternity Wear

img_42651.jpg

Sweater: DressLily Leggings: Nordstrom

This time of year makes me want all the comfy, cozy sweaters to start wearing during the fall and winter months. Over the last few years, I have definitely accumulated a fair amount of sweaters that I can pull out and wear in a moments notice. The only problem with this fall season is that most of those sweaters don’t extend over that growing bump that seems to be protruding more and more each day.

I decided I wanted to try finding some comfortable sweaters that I could wear while pregnant, but also continue to wear over the years. Big baggy sweaters it is!

I recently found the cutest heathered lace patchwork sweater that fits so well from Dresslily. It goes right over my bump, but will definitely still be wearable next fall when I’m (hopefully) back to my regular weight. It is the perfect sweater to wear with leggings, which is exactly what this pregnant mama needs. My favorite part is the adorable lace patchwork along the bottom.

Look for more comfortable, adorable finds from DressLily in the future!

The Perfect Maternity Top to Transition from Summer to Fall

maternity-fashion.jpg

My favorite season has always been autumn. When the slightest hint of fall comes around you can bet that I will unpack my cooler weather clothes, pull out my fall scented candles, and grab a pumpkin spice latte at the nearest coffee shop ASAP.

The only problem is that sometimes it’s a little too warm to pull out the fall clothes right away. This is when I pull out my transition pieces from summer and fall and they are just as fun to wear as those comfy sweaters.

My recent favorite find is this adorable Ivory Floral Chiffon Ruffle Trim Maternity Blouse from PinkBlush. This is the absolute perfect top to begin wearing during this fall weather when the days are not quite cool enough for sweaters but still slightly warm outside.

It still has a summer floral feel but has beautiful long chiffon sleeves which are perfect for autumn. This shirt is adorable and is so comfortable to wear. I especially love the cinched sleeves and the ruffle trim front that give it a unique look.

This is definitely a top that I will be continuing to wear after pregnancy. Check out so many more adorable maternity tops from PinkBlush that will lead you right from summer to fall.
